What still needs to be confirmed
This is an O’Haire concept demo inspired by the requested Ifor Williams configuration flow. It is not the manufacturer’s configurator and is not connected to its systems.
- Approved model data: exact model codes, dimensions, gross weights, unladen weights and payload calculations.
- Valid configurations: factory options, mandatory dependencies, incompatible combinations, axle/deck choices and option weight effects.
- Irish selling prices: current euro base and extra prices, VAT basis, delivery, assembly, discounts and quotation validity.
- Availability: dealer stock, factory build availability, lead times and how frequently these are updated.
- Manufacturer integration: whether an authorised dealer feed, API, embed or configuration link is available, plus permission to reuse model imagery and data.
- Quotation process: who approves a quote, customer details and privacy notice, enquiry routing, notifications and order/deposit terms.
- Final checks: dealer sign-off against real configurations and prices, towing suitability guidance and an agreed process for keeping information current.
The existing parts catalogue does not establish the complete trailer configuration rules. This demonstration uses invented data throughout; all questions above remain pending.
